The big day! - 07/26/2003
Today is the day. Departure day and beginning of the big trip. I spent most of the day feeling like crap from the night before, so the frantic packing and stress of moving out of my home for the past 3 years was just that much worse. Erin and I managed to leave the loft around 6pm. We intended to leave at 12:00, so we didn't do too bad. On top of all this, there was a ball game, so getting the RV out of the loft parking was a chore. "Hey, watch the BMW!" Ha, right.
Erin drove the RV, I drove the Supra. We went to her mom's house and had a tearful goodbye. From there, we went to Ricky's new lakehouse in Innsbrook and spent the night with him, Lianna, Steve, and his new girlfriend. I won't butcher her name by trying to spell it, but it's something like "Hiroke" in phonetics. This house is amazing. It has a professional bubble hockey game machine!
We slept like ancient logs in the "pink room".
